Female nudes. 1950s/1960s. 2 vintage ferrotyped gelatin silver prints. Each circa 33 x 26,5 cm. Each signed by the photographer in ink in lower right corner on the recto; photographer's 1401 Sunset Plaza Drive, Hollywood, Calif. 90069 stamp and credit reproduction limitation stamp, as well as annotated by the photographer in ink and pencil on the verso.
Apart from photographing the young Marilyn Monroe, which he is most known for today, the Romanian born De Dienes specialized in glamourous nudes, as well as outdoor scenes. The female form is ever-present in his work. - Signs of light handling, both prints with retouched spot, otherwise in very good condition.
