Souvenir album of a German air force officer on the West front, northern France and Paris, WWI. Circa 1918. Circa 51 vintage gelatin silver prints. Various sizes, most 12 x 16 cm and 16 x 12 cm and smaller. Mounted to thick paper, most annotated in German in ink around the images, bound in contemporary paper album (edges worn) with chord binding.
Includes images of German air force officers, cities and landscapes, destroyed buildings, as well as some rare aerial views of Paris (5). - Some prints faded, some with silver mirroring in edges, a few with tears, otherwise in good to very good condition.
