Description

Ornate Sevres porcelain two section urn with cover and decorative metal mounts. The artist hand painted an attractive maiden wearing a pink gown floating above a bed of orchids and backlit by a large golden sun. More orchids are on the obverse. The color scheme combined with a spray of teal luster and raised gold produced a pleasing effect. Gold wash scrolled metalwork, nice pineapple finial. Height 17 1/2 inches. Marked with an S within a scrolled logo in the cover and below the base. Partial artist signed (E. Dabone__) on the front. Great artwork, beautiful condition.
