Description
PILLAR-MOLDED MOLASSES PITCHER, colorless, pyriform body with eight ribs, a wide applied convex neck ring, applied hollow handle, and an applied broad sloping foot with a rough pontil mark. Original Britannia hinged lid. Pittsburgh area, probably Bakewell, Pears & Co. 1850-1870. 9 1/4" HOA, 7" H neck, 3 7/8" D foot.
