A fine set of four Chinese porcelain plaque paintings attributed to Wang Yeting, with poems of unknown author, inspired by 沈括《夢溪筆談》, Dream Pool Essays by ShenKuo, Chinese polymathic scientist of the Song dynasty. This poem describes one of the 瀟湘八景 ‘Eight Views of Xiaoxiang’, 漁村夕照 ‘The fishing village in the evening glow’. All of the plaques are framed in a finely carved wooden frame, please see all details on the photographs attached. One of the frames has an export seal on its back.
