Early Jumeau Bisque Head Bebe, France, c. 1885, lined blue paperweight eyes, head marked 5 at base, cork pate, replacement old blonde mohair wig, marked Jumeau eight-ball body, ht. 15 in.
Second series portrait Jumeau. Replacement wig a little large for doll. Some roughness to bisque, a few raised lines in making. No visible hairlines or cracks to bisque when viewed under light. Dress is not original, undergarments antique, brown leather German shoes.
