Two Janis Joplin Concert Posters
Lot includes two posters from milestone concerts in Joplin's music career. First is from March 8, 1968, the first concert played at the new Fillmore East (formerly The Village Theater. Poster features a nude image of Joplin in front of a marijuana plant. The second poster is from June 12, 1970, Freedom Hall, Louisville, KY. This concert was the first Joplin played with her new "Full-Tilt Boogie Band". Both approx. 14 x 22 in.
Both with pinholes from where they were hung, and even toning.
