An attractive Apulian Xenon-ware kylix with central duck, Magnia Graecia, c. 350 - 330 BC, a laurel wreath on the outside. The bowl with shallow walls and light ridge, raised ring foot and two delicate handles. Repaired from a few sherds with light restoration over the seams. A very attractive piece! Ex Dr. Gilles collection, Germany, acquired in the 1960's.
