Walder Sandberg (Detroit, Michigan, 1881-1968) carved walnut four drawer lingerie chest with carved drawer fronts, pulls, quarter columns and cabriole scroll feet. Walder Sandberg wood carver, immigrated from Sweden and settled in Detroit. He was a noted local wood carver and cabinet maker, with his work represented in the Henry Ford Museum Collections. Descended from the family. Accompanied with a copied photo of Walder Sandberg & his wife. Good condition. 30" h x 17" w x 12" d.
