Rare type of porcelain having a deep purple and pale blue coloration over the cream-colored body, with a biscuit base. Possibly 18th C, very artistic, but more likely 19thC. The surface is NOT like any 20th C. examples seen from any part of China. 4-3/8" tall, and perfect. Ideal size for a shelf collection its lively colors will stand out nicely.
