DECORATED BLANKET CHEST. Pine and poplar single boards. Dovetailed case with a false bottom and three dovetailed drawers with applied beading and Federal brasses. Applied molding to the base and lid. Late painted decoration of thorny foliage, columns and a cartouche for "Sam Weaver 1821". Interior till and a bear trap lock. Replaced feet and blocks. 50 1/4"w. 23"d. 29 1/2"h.
