GERMAN BISQUE DOLL BY KESTNER. Marks: J made in Germany 13 / 129. 22”. Bisque socket head, brown sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, upper teeth, original blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, Kestner composition ball-jointed body stamped Germany on back, antique white cotton dress and black/tan leather shoes. Commentary: Very fine quality bisque and decoration, excellent original body with original finish, antique costuming.
