Description

Sixth Plate Ferrotype Of Hard Looking Confederate Soldier. Obviously very early war with ferrotype patent marks on plate, and typical bluing around the edges. Wears plaid shirt with buttons tinted gilt. Very high gray kepi with black band at the bottom, along with clearly visible leather chinstrap and gilt tinted band around the top of the black band at the base, and vertically to the top on the front. Very fine quality and condition with just some bluing as noted. In whole case with hinge split. A very dangerous looking Confederate.
