Description

Exceptionally Nice Quarter Plate Ambrotype Portrait of Confederate Sergeant and Friend. Sergeant wears gray shell jacket, appears to be seven button front, buttons tinted gilt. Jacket opened exposing dark colored vest underneath Jacket with standup collar and very wide elbow sleeve cut. Wears three narrow black stripes on each sleeve designating sergeant's rank. Exceptionally fine quality, excellent condition in full case with hinge split. Nice Confederate image.
