C. 1870 Tipton View Of Letterman General Hospital, Gettysburg, Shortly After The Battle. Image 7 3/4" X 9 1/2", mount 11" X 14" with small "Tipton / Gettysburg, Pa." ink stamp on verso. One of a rare series of images done by Tipton shortly after his acquisition of the studio of the Tyson Brothers. Image with just some minor fading, mount has been bent in half but not broken and no harms to the image, else just a minor water stain in upper left corner. Rare image.
