ALS, 1p, Jan. 31, 1911, Portland, Maine, to Frederick Hill Meserve (1865-1962), the preeminent cataloger of Lincoln photography, requesting copies of Meserve's book for inclusion in the Bowdoin library and distribution among the members of the many clubs to which he belongs.
