Governeur Kemble Warren (1830-1882). Civil War Major General noted for commanding the defense of Little Round Top at the Battle of Gettysburg. Lot includes: ALS, 1p, July 11, 1862, no place, to a Capt. Witman regarding an endorsement; plus an Army Corps of Engineers obituary of Warren, released August 9, 1882, as General Orders No. 5; plus a reprint of the proceedings of the Association of Graduates of the USMA Annual Re-union, June 12, 1883, testimony to G.K. Warren. 

Condition

ALS is very good.  Obituary is excellent.  Pamphlet with wraps separated at the spine.
