Signed and inscribed on verso in artist's hand: For Katherine Powell with admiration from Ernest Lawson. Provenance: Kraushaar Galleries, 724 Fifth Avenue, NYC. An accompanying photograph depicts the Harlem River scenery at the beginning of the 20th century.

Very slight inpainting upper left and right (small 1/16 inch spots) Otherwise good condition consistent with age.
