Probably Louis Marx Mfg. New York City, New York – Circa 1935 This bank was found in the Louis Marx workshop in the late 1950’s. Its action is similar to that of the Buddy Bank, produced by Marx in the 1930’s. Put a coin in Popeye’s left hand. Press down on his right hand as if shaking it and the coin is deposited into the barrel.This is the only known specimen of the bank. Material: Tin •
