Gibson L-3 archtop guitar, second half 1920s, serial #89107. Concert size (13 3/4") with sunburst finish, maple back and sides, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, faux tortoise pick guard and trapeze tailpiece with patent date July 19, 1910. Bearing the original paper label for the Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Company, Kalamazoo, MI. Appears original, in hard case. Playwear to neck and other imperfections with age, including small split to top, above round sound hole, repaired split, and warp to top. 39 1/2" high, 13 3/4" wide, 4 1/4" deep.
