Fine hepplewhite inlaid mahogany oval pembroke table, with incurved molded top edge, above a frame with one working drawer, set on square tapering legs with edge stringing and incised husks with inlaid cuffs and brass caps. Possibly Litchfield County, CT, circa 1795-1800. In as found estate condition. Provenance: Private collection of a Connecticut gentleman. Some surface abrasions, old stains and minor losses to inlays, brass cuffs on feet, lacking casters. 27 1/2" high, 20 1/4" wide (leaves down), 39" wide (leaves up), 29 3/4" long.
