***Extremely rare. The first edition was published (in French) in 1864 and this English translation in November 1871 (dated 1872). It was the second book by Verne (after Five Weeks in a Balloon) to appear in the English language. No copy of this first English edition appears to have been offered foir sale at auction for 25 years..
