A LONGCASE CLOCK BY JOHN BOOT Jnr. SUTTON ASHFIELD This gorgeous oak clock is in very good working condition, and its movement has been recently (and expensively!) serviced by a professional clock repairer. The clock is by John Boot Jnr, a son of the patriarch clock maker John Boot, whose daughter Elizabeth Boot was also well known for her longcase clocks. The case measures a neat 78" x 20" and is in fine condition, having endured no restoration or repairs! It has its original weights and pendulum. A perfect appartment sized clock. The clock dates to ca1790.
