Old pair of Chinese enameled cloisonne figures depicting ivory jeweled emperor and empress figures. Each is finely crafted and depicted in seated position holding jade vases with items. Figures have ivory heads and hands. Turquoise and amber beads are used to decorate the figures intricate headdress. The Emperor and Empress have wooden thrones clad with vermeil dragons and floral designs. Throne rests on wooden bases having silver inlay throughout. Vermeil and jade spires set to each post. Has a polychromed ivory plaque set to stairs depicting blue dragon with flaming jewel. Qing period. Measures 24 1/4" height x 16 5/8" width x 15 3/4" depth (61.5cm x 42.2cm x 40cm). Total weight of 18.14 kilograms.
