Rare Chinese grisaille and gilt decorated plate depicting "The Seamstress", c.1750-1770. Measures 9" in diameter. Retains the original Parke-Bernet label. Ex. collection of Lucile and Robert H. Gries, Parke-Bernet Auction 1970. NOTE: very fine 1.5" glaze hairline. The plate is being offered with the original Parke-Bernet auction catalogue.
