Silk needlework drawstring purse, 18th c., with Adam and Eve in the garden, together with a silk drawstring bag with needlework leaves, vine, and date 1828, and a needlework gauze purse with figures centering on an altar.

Adam & Eve - heavy losses to reverse liner. Drawstring - good condition. Other - minor/moderate stitch loss.It is the responsibility of all prospective bidders to ask for/obtain a condition report(if not provided above) or to inspect the property before bidding to determine its condition, size, and whether or not it has been restored. Conditions reports will be provided as a courtesy as quickly and as accurately as possible. NEW condition requests not received prior 12:00pm the day before the auction will not be answered. If an auction has two sessions, requests will stop being accepted at noon the day prior to the FIRST session. Questions will not be answered at all once the auction has begun.
