Very fine and extremely rare purple clay teapot set. This great teapot set collection was for the great Chinese painting Master ZHU QIZHAN century anniversary (1892-1996). The initial limited quantity was 100pcs total in 1990. Now less than 90pcs only still exist in museum and the collector’s hand. The great purple clay Master GU JINGZHOU (1915-1996) was chief designer and consultant for all the 100pcs teapots. Chinese painting Master CHENG SHIFA (1921-2007) and TANG YUN (1910-1993) also as special consultants. Six top purple clay artists from YIXING national purple clay factory and four famous purple clay carving artists under great Master GU JINGZHOU supervising and direction took so many months to complete. Each teapot carved with calligraphy and Chinese painting from great Master ZHU QIZHAN. Each teapot with designers marked and original certificate. This great collection also including one great book with original calligraphy from great Master GU JINGZHOU, ZHU QIZHAN, and CHENG SHIFA.
