SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA EARTHENWARE CROCK, salt glazed, approximately 1/2 gallon capacity, cylindrical form with single incised ring and squared rim. Brushed cobalt three-petal leaf decoration repeated three times around the rim. Attributed to the shop of George Duey and James Shinnick. Circa 1870-1880. 9" H, 5 1/2" D rim.
