A large two pedestal dining table and 12 chairs by E J Victor is part of their Newport Mansions Collection. The table features two tripartite pedestals supporting a racetrack oval top with two large leaves. The finely crafted top features mahogany solids and burl ash veneer with satinwood, tulipwood and kingwood banding. included in this lot are ten side and two armchairs by E. J. Victor Company in the Regency style with scroll back and relief carving at crests and aprons; all are covered in Rose Tarlow silk damask and the frames are age painted black.
Very good condition.
Table: 30 x 143 x 54 inches (76 x 363.2 x 137.2 cm).
Chairs: 39 x 23 x 27 inches (99.1 x 58.4 x 68.6 cm).
