A MOORISH MOTHER OF PEARL AND SILVER INLAID BOMBE COMMODE

The shaped walnut top with a stylized foliate and floral patterns of mother of pearl and silver in a cloisonne style (with the silver inlay surrounding each piece of mother of pearl). The top is supported by a voluptuous bombe form body with engaged legs, four drawers and turned walnut pulls with bronze tips. Each drawer features inlaid geometric banding enclosing a foliate and floral design. The side panels feature a stylized lyre form design. All supported on a shaped apron and bulbous legs.
