Circa 17th-18th century AD. A cast bronze figurine of a lion, sitting on a rectangular base with a ring between the teeth, elaborately plumed tail, base pierced for attachment. Acquired on the London art market in the 1960's. Bronze, 240 grams, 65 mm (2 3/4").
