Kabukie Execution Dyptych oil on canvas, signed by on both pieces by Morris Gaylord Broderson (1928 - 2011) . Dimensions: Two pieces - Large 71" X 26" - Narrow 71" X 7.5". A large grand, powerfully tragic example of one of Broderson's iconic subjects. Broserson, deaf, studied at the Pasadena Art Museum and UCLA. He is know for his ability to draw together moving emotions of tragedy and compassion. Broderson's works have been purchased or exhibited by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, M.H. De Young Museum, San Francisco, the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York City, and the Hirshhorn Museum, Washington, D.C.
