Boca Grande Beach, watercolor, signed by Ogden Minton Pleissner (1905 - 1983) lower left. Demensions 14" X 21".: Pleissner studied at the Art Students League in New York then travelled the world perfecting his outdoor realist style. In 1932 the Metropolitan Museum in New York City purchased one of his paintings, making him the youngest artist at that time in the Museum collection. He painted in Aleutians and Normandy during WWII. His works can be viewed at Philadelphia Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, and Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Good condition commensurate with age.
