Orange County, California born, Roberts studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California to become one of the finest California Plein Air and Southwest painters. He is know for his vibrant use of color, bold textures, and sensitivity to shifting patterns of light. His work has won awards from Laguna Art Museum, American Impressionist Society, and many others throughout the West and Southwest. Provenance: The Merv Griffin Estate.
