Model of the HMS Dorsetshire by John Ficklen III (American, 1941) in a museum quality showcase. Ficklen has constructed models for museums and organizations including the Smithsonian. Plaque reads, "HMS Dorsetshire, Commissioned September 30, 1930, Lost in Action, Scale 1/16 inch = 1 foot." Commissioned by the Royal Navy, the Dorsetshire was sunk by Japanese bombers in 1942. Case measures 16 by 43 by 7.25 inches. Overall in very good condition. Third party shipper required.
