Description

Civil War North Carolina N. P. Ames cutler dragoon sword in Kenansville scabbard. 34 inch blade, with brass hilt and wire wrapped leather grip. Quillon marked "WS" inspector and "NC" for North Carolina acceptance. Needle etched "United States" and N. P. Ames makers mark are faintly visible. Dark patina and some pitting to blade and scabbard. Overall in good condition.
