19th Century percussion Kentucky rifle. 40 1/2 inch octagon barrel, about .40 caliber, with half stock. No makers mark on barrel or lock plate. Brass trigger guard, butt plate and ramrod loops. Dark brown patina on barrel and metal surfaces. Ramrod appears to be a replacement and slightly too long. Hammer and triggers appear to function. Chip to forward stock, with surfaces fairly worn.
