Ornate and important four piece tea set signed Ball Tompkins & Black of New York. 97.97 ozt. J.C. Moore, Silversmith, working prior to his association with Tiffany & Co.. Comprised of 2 pots or pitchers, perhaps a water pitcher and tea pot, along with a covered creamer and open sugar. Embellished floral & Repousse decoration, fancy feet and legs with interspersed landscape motifs. Provenance: Western US Estate.

Significant and historical American silver hollowware find!
Condition: Small 3 letter monogram reads “E.M.C.” There is a small dent in the spout of the creamer. Typical fine hairlines to pitcher insulation rings. Handle on largest pitcher wobbles slightly. Extremely good condition throughout. Exceptionally & highly important estate find.
