This is the ELEVENTH of 20 examples of paintings, sculpture and mixed media works of art from an important Tarpon Springs Florida area collection of antique, old master and contemporary central, northern and eastern European art that will be offered today as individual lots.
This ELEVENTH lot is a finely painted miniature of Jesus delivering blessings or Benediction holding scripture inscribed and or signed on the bible and across the bottom of the riza. Riza material has not been identified although many were silver.
Riza measures 3 5/8 inches high by 2 7/8 inches wide with folding sides on boxed backing 1/2 inch deep covered with velvet fabric.
Condition: Even darkened varnish with craquelure throughout. Mild wear to gilt patina.
