Acquired years ago with an oral tradition as having been Civil War era mourning beads from Cochran, Georgia. 60" long graduated wooden beads with a black painted finish, set to black thread, and spaced with multifaceted black jet beads. LA1-17.
In very good condition with some minimal finish loss and a small space in the stringing.
