A Giltwood Mirror, Irish George III-mid-18th Century, with later shaped rectangular plate in a rockwork carved and pierced surround carved with vine leaves and bunches of grapes and acanthus scrolls, the cresting carved with displayed hoho birds resting on C-scrolls and centred by a pierced shell, surmounted by a fretwork carved panel supporting further flower heads, fruit and foliage, the shaped apron with confronting C-scrolls and foliate carved clasps, re-gilt, 58" h x 32" w (147.5cms x 82cms).
