Unusual Tramp Art Pedestal Sewing Box. Lid, with two small covered boxes and a center rest for scissors, lifts off to reveal a yellow satin lined interior with red felt having two heart shapes cut through. Box consists of light colored panels framed by dark strips as is the base body. Stacked strips rise to meet a plate holding the bottom pyramid of the box bottom. Ex- Robert Vaux Roop Collection. Condition: Bottom of box reglued to pedestal base. Off-center.
