American School 19th Century Embroidered Still Life. Polychrome basket of flowers with strawberries, exotic bird, butterflies and a bumble bee. A tin-type photograph of a young lady (probably the artist) is displayed in the floral bouquet. Bordered in red rose and foliate vine with silver thread lattice. In a period gilt molded frame, 18" x 19 1/2" overall. Condition: Good with minor stains and holes.
