Chinese. A double gourd vase with ruyi and lappet bands, painted with four roundels each containing scenes of birds and flowers, enclosed by an iron red ground with gilt highlights depicting lotus flowers, scrolling leaves, and auspicious symbols, with an underglaze blue six-character Qianlong mark; ht. 7.25 in.
Minor loss of gilding around base.
