"Boats in the Bay", oil on board, signed by Birger (Sven Birger) Sandzen (1871 - 1954) lower left. Circa 1948. Impressionist landscape artist, Swedish Sandzen studied in Stockholm, Paris then settled in Colorado where he was to be known as the "American Van Gogh".
