Set of eight American quartersawn oak dining chairs consisting of six side chairs and two armchairs after a design by Harvey Ellis for Gustav Stickley, the backs having scooped crest rails over three slats, the center slat with inlays of pewter, coppr, and fruitwoods in a conventionalized Arts & crafts flower, between square styles continuing to form the back legs, the arched ''C'' apron holding a drop-in leather seat, the front square legs joined to the back by cross stretchers, the armchairs with shaped board arms over tapering corbels, dowelled tennon joinery through out, side chairs 19'' x 18'' x 42.5'' armchair 27'' x 23'' x 45''
