Description
Woodstock Festival Poster (1969). No concert even in the 1960s is as well-remembered and revered today as the original Woodstock Music and Art Fair, held at Max Yasgur's White Lake farm near Bethel, in upstate New York. Here's a classic first-printing poster for that incredible three-day event, featuring Arnold Skolnick's "Dove and Guitar" design, and the preliminary line-up of acts, including the Jeff Beck Group, which was a no-show. The poster measures approximately 18" x 24.5"; there is a small corner fold in the upper left that has broken the color, leaving this otherwise beautiful piece in VG+ condition.
