Rated as Rarity-1 (100 or so Known) according to Fred Reed. The deep blue Benjamin Franklin stamp is near perfectly centered, in vivid fresh and clean condition. The mica is excellent having no breaks and showing virtually no contact. On the back legend, "AYER'S SARSAPARILLA TO PURIFY THE BLOOD" retains virtually 100% of its original Silvering. There is just some faint friction on the very highest points of the reverse legends and scattered deeper tone specks within the inner rims. Rarely is this more common Encased Postage Stamp type found in such high quality and coated with nearly 100% of its original Silvering.
