Gustave Baumann (German/American, 1881 - 1971). "July". Original color woodcut. 1912. Stamp signed with the initials, lower left; signed in the block, lower right. Cream wove paper. Wide margins. Fine impression with heavy ink application. Very good condition. Provenance: Through the artist Will Vawter. Included in the suite of 13 woodcuts (the twelve different months & the title page) published in "All the Year Round" as "July." We could not find a stamp signed impression of this print at auction.
