JULIE DAWN COLE “VERUCA SALT’S” ORIGINAL SCREEN-USED GOLDEN TICKET FROM WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY - (Paramount, 1971) Original Golden Ticket screen-used by actress Julie Dawn Cole in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. It reads: “Wonka’s Golden Ticket – Greetings to you, the lucky finder of this Golden Ticket, from Mr. Willy Wonka!... Present this ticket at the factory gates at ten o’clock in the morning of the first day of October and do not be late. You may bring with you one member of your own family…and only one…but no one else…In your wildest dreams you could not imagine the marvelous SURPRISES that await YOU!” Printed on shiny gold foil paper and measuring 3 ½ in. x 6 ¾ in. This ticket was used in the memorable scene where it is found at “Salt’s Salted Peanuts” factory following Mr. Salt’s ambitious efforts to secure a Golden Ticket for his daughter. Acquired directly from actress Julie Dawn Cole who played the spoiled English girl “Veruca Salt.” Comes with a notarized copy of a letter from Ms. Cole stating (in part), “The [Golden] ticket was used in the scene where it is found at ‘Salt’s Salted Peanut factory’. At last Veruca gets her hands on the ticket and Slugworth whispers in her ear…”
